Outside is cold and gloomy. Early this morning, curls of ghost-like fog unfurled and traveled the garden floor breathing in the austerity of winter... clouds dressed in dark gray covered the sky. Then, tiny flurries buzzed the yard. Larger flakes appeared later and started to stick, until finally a full-blown snow squall enveloped the garden. I sat on the sofa and watched from the window, wishing I had a cat to cuddle up with and share the enchantment of the moment. It was like being in a snowglobe.
